Classes at Wildflower yoga are run by Lexy O’Neill, a Yoga Alliance certified instructor, who completed her yoga teacher training in Bali with the School of Sacred Arts.

Lexy has a passion for yoga, and the profound impact it can have on people’s lives. She believes in yoga as a healer, a practice which can be used as a tool to reduce stress and anxiety that many of us deal with in every day life.

With a special interest in mindfulness, Lexy will guide you through practices which will allow you to become more aware of thoughts, feelings in the physical body, emotions, and to appreciate every moment in the present.

Benefits of yoga:
Conscious breathing techniques help to reduce anxiety and stress
Helps with relaxation and better sleep
Learn skills to help quieten the ‘monkey mind’
Builds strength and flexibility
Helps with overall body confidence and self-acceptance
Self-observation and awareness in both mind and body
Self love and forgiveness

I’ve not done any Yoga for a long time and decided to give it a go again. I decided to try one of Lexy’s classes and was pleasantly surprised at my ability to handle the class! Lexy offered options to ease off when needed, the right motivation and flow to ensure it was a tough and rewarding workout from start to finish. I couldn’t recommend Lexy highly enough to anyone who wants to give Yoga a go, or the seasoned practitioners out there. Excellent.
